When a loved one dies, as well as dealing with the stress of making arrangements for the funeral, those left behind will also need to deal with the deceased’s personal estate. This process of winding up the estate of someone who has died is known as Probate.

This can often be a bewildering and complex process which involves checking the validity of the will, or where there isn’t one working with the law of intestacy, as well as paying off debts and paying tax before any beneficiary can benefit.
